Can I tell how much milk I have by pumping?

MYTH-Pumping is a good way of determining how much milk the mother has

The amount of milk that can be pumped depends on many factors, including the mother's stress level. The baby who nurses well can get much more milk than his/her mother can pump. Pumping only tells you how much you can pump.

WOW!!! If that's the case, my son would eat 2 liters of breast milk a day cause right now I produce around 1.5 liter milk in one day.

What difference does it make if pumping doesn't determine how much milk the mother may produce as long as the baby gets enough milk? Why do you keep making exclusive pumping mothers feel like a failure as a mother? Besides, I don't believe exlusive pumping mothers produce less milk than nursing mothers. I may not be nursing my son but he is eating breast milk more than enough and I don't know what I am going to do with all these extra milk.
